Guest Editor Invitation for the Florida Family Physician Journal

April 1, 2022 — I was invited by the Florida Academy of Family Physicians (FAFP) to be Guest Editor for the 2022 Spring Issue of the Florida Family Physician Journal, titled Environmental Impact on Health. This was a great experience and learned much during the process.

Climate change and health is a topic I have been researching for some time, and this was a good opportunity to share some of the information with other physicians. The following topics where discussed in the publication:

  • Impact of Climate Change on Health

  • Physician's Attitudes towards Climate Change

  • Climate Change and the Education of Future Physicians

  • What Can I Do?: Climate Change Action Items for Physicians

I enjoyed the collaboration with the amazing group of physician authors, and the FAFP leadership. All the hard work paid off and the issue was finally published.

I want to thank the FAFP leadership for this opportunity.
