  • Researched and suggested content for the journal, including the Letter from the Guest Editor.

  • Engaged in close collaboration with a group of physician authors, as well as the communications director of the Florida Academy of Family Physicians.

  • Developed and presented a conference on the topic of telemedicine as it applies for primary physicians

  • Reviewed various topics including market and barriers, rules and regulation, how to develop a telemedicine program, and digital strategies for care coordination using digital health

UCF Faculty - Telemedicine Workshop (April 2020)

University of Central Florida, Academic Health Sciences Center (AHSC) - Orlando, Florida

  • Developed and presented a workshop for the AHSC faculty on the subjects of telemedicine competencies and integration of telemedicine education in the medical curriculum.

  • Reviewed various topics including telemedicine practice standards, telemedicine and HIPAA, telemedicine coverage and payment, licensing and regulation, ethical practice, telemedicine rural health and cultural competency, digital communication etiquette, rationale for telemedicine education, and barriers to telemedicine education.
