WORK EXPERIENCE

Center for Living Well/Premise Health (October 2023 - Present)

Primary Care Physician

The Center for Living Well provides personalized, value-based medical care to it's members. The clinical team consist of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, clinical psychologist, RN care managers, RN doulas, pharmacists, optometrists, social workers, family therapy specialists, and dietitians.

  • Provider of primary care including gender and age specific preventive care, chronic disease care management, screening and management of mental health disorders, women health and HIV PreP Therapy.

  • Minor surgical procedures: Nexplanon implants, I&D, repair of lacerations, punch biopsies, ingrown nails, and excisions of cysts and lipomas

  • Supervision of, and collaboration with, mid-level providers.

  • Use EPIC electronic medical records.

College of Medicine, University of Central Florida (December 2018 - Present)

Assistant Professor of Family Medicine - Volunteer Appointment

  • Medical faculty (primary care) for the student-led Apopka Clinic which provides free health care services to migrant and uninsured farmworkers in Apopka Florida.

  • Designed and implemented an online elective course (topic - telemedicine) for senior medical students using Canvas™ online learning management platform. Responsible for planning, creating and editing the content for the online course

  • Proficient using Google Docs and Google Slides to create content included in presentations and workshops for students and faculty

Babylon (March 2020 - May 2023)

Physician/Clinical Lead

  • Provided virtual primary care consultations via live-interactive telemedicine for children and adults - including preventive care, mental health care, and chronic disease management. Used the collaborative care model to provide high-quality mental health services within the primary care setting.

  • Collaborated in the development and implementation of Babylon 360 - a value-based health care model for children and adults ages 2 years and older, including high-risk adults.

  • Clinical Lead (Dec 2021 - Aug 2022) oversight of day-to-day practice operations including quality assurance and safety; supervision of medical providers through chart audits and one-on-one peer reviews.

The Grove, an Impower Company (January 2019 - June 2022)

  • Provided virtual primary care services via live-interactive telemedicine for adolescents in a residential behavioral health facility (The Grove), focused on substance abuse and mental health.

  • Designed and launched a telemedicine program to serve the patients at The Grove.
